Properties
TPU 10 is a polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic, organic pigments and carbon black. The results are :
- Reduced flooding problems
- Higher color strength
- Lower viscosity
- Reduced dispersion time
- Improved gloss and slip
- Higher color strength
- Stabilization of the pigment dispersion
- Reduced pigment sedimentation
Application
TPU10 has also be used as a general dispersing agent for all aromatic-free solvent-based architectural finishes. TPUIO has been developed as a general dispersing gent for all solvent based paints from high ‘performance industrial coatings to normal decorative paints.
Addition
The required amount of TPU10 on pigment:
Titanium dioxide | 2-5% |
Inorganic pigment | 5-10%/td> |
Organic pigments | 15-30 |
Carbon blacks | 30-60% |
Incorporation
TPU10 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.
Storage
TPU10 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container .Up to 1 year from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
